Hotspotting and
the FARMAX Cloud
Using the FARMAX cloud via a personal hotspot or tethered connection can result in ineffective syncing, so we recommend avoiding this method where possible. These issues can occur because, depending on the device used, hotspot or tether connections can have limits on bandwidth (the amount of data which is able to be transferred in a certain amount of time), this can have the result of ineffectively uploading files to the FARMAX servers.
If practical, we recommend working offline. In spite of the new emphasis on cloud storage, FARMAX Cloud is designed to be fully functional even if you are not connected to the internet. The main limitations of offline use is the inability to set up a completely new Farm subscription and that files you are editing cannot be locked against other users.
